Yousuf Ahmed, chairman of the finance committee of the Doha Diamond League organising committee, expressed his happiness at the great successes achieved this year, saying the large turnout of world champions and the top marks and results recorded were full proof of success, and that our national team’s satisfying results, together with the huge crowd turnout, completed the medal of full success, especially as the Doha meeting remains a beacon among championships, the most exciting and closely contested, and a source of new records. He thanked everyone who contributed to the event’s success and congratulated Federation President Major General Al Hamad on achievements befitting Qatari athletics.
