Yasser Al Sayyadi, our national team’s administrator, affirmed that there is great benefit from taking part in the Asian Youth Championship, and that this is a very important event ahead of the World Championship to be held in America next month with the participation of our national youth team’s stars, saying: “The current Asian championship is extremely tough and difficult, and it is impossible to predict which team will claim the title by winning the most medals,” stressing at the same time that what concerns him is our youth national team, which is doing well so far, and that all the players have great ambitions to continue the journey of Qatari athletics, which has already made its mark at regional, continental and international events, while also praising the achievements made by our champions in the events and races over the first two days.
Yasser Al Sayyadi added that the Athletics Federation, chaired by Dahlan Al Hamad, provides everything for the national teams, from top-level foreign training camps and other things that add to our champions’ abilities, noting that our national teams have become a force to be reckoned with in external competitions and events thanks to the unlimited support from all those responsible for sport in our beloved country, wishing success to all our national team’s young champions in the remaining races and events of the current Asian championship and in future events.
