Qatar Athletics Federation members took an active part in the IAAF’s promotional campaign workshop on reforms. Attending were Mohammed Sulaiman, assistant secretary general; Abdulhakim Al Amri, technical committee chairman and board member; and board members Abdulrahman Al Noubi and Mai Al Mohammadi. Mohammed Sulaiman stressed the importance of the workshop and its ability to convey everything related to the coming development of world athletics. Abdulhakim Al Amri said Qatar had achieved great success in hosting the workshop and the Asian federation meeting, adding that the important thing was the significant future of world athletics and how to deal with everything new – a point also raised by Abdulrahman Al Noubi, who affirmed that Qatari athletics had gained a great deal from the IAAF workshop. Mai Al Mohammadi noted that everything that took place in Doha over the past hours pointed to a bright future for world athletics and its focus on a prosperous future.
