Sprinter Femi Ogunode, winner of bronze at the World Indoor Championships in Poland, expressed his happiness at the honour he received from officials after the achievement he attained at the World Indoor Championships held in Poland, and Femi said in remarks: I dedicate the bronze achievement to the wise leadership, and all those responsible for Qatari sport and the people of Qatar , and everyone living on the good land of Qatar.
Femi Ogunode noted that the achievement was the fruit of officials’ support for Qatari athletics, which will achieve more medals and achievements in the future, and said: I pledge to officials to embrace gold at Rio 2016, and I hope I succeed in achieving what is required.
The player extended his thanks and appreciation to Major General Dahlan Jumaan Al Hamad, president of the Qatari and Asian federations, for his great support and backing of all the players and champions in athletics, and said: We are fortunate to have a federation president who knows everything, big and small, about the champions and gives strong support.
