The Diamond League press conference saw the signing of sponsorship and partnership agreements with Aspire Academy, Aspetar Hospital and Rayyan Water. After signing the Rayyan Water sponsorship agreement, Mahmoud Azzam, operations director at Rayyan Water, expressed his happiness at renewing the agreement with the Qatar Athletics Federation, affirming that everyone at the company would give their full effort to make the federation’s projects a success and to help organise all its championships. He also congratulated Major General Dahlan Al Hamad on his election as president of the Asian federation. Major General Dahlan Al Hamad, president of the Qatari and Asian federations and IAAF vice-president, responded with a speech praising the cooperation and partnership with Rayyan Water, a national company that deserves recognition for its major role in supporting the meeting and contributing to these important sporting events in the country.
