He stressed that this committee’s task is to gather the views, observations and proposals of the clubs to develop Qatari athletics, overcome the difficulties that accompany the local championships, and identify ways to develop Qatari club athletics in future, discussing them at the technical committee meeting so that appropriate recommendations can be made to the board of directors. The administrative, technical and organisational aspects of the following topics were discussed:-

1 ) Discussion of the fourth festival for the hopefuls category
2 ) Discussion of the Federation Shield championship for the age categories
3 ) Discussion of the Crown Prince’s Cup championship
4 ) Discussion of the Amir Cup championship
The clubs’ representatives praised the good organisation of the local championships, while committee members raised their observations on the running of the local championships and on the players and local championships regulations.
At the end of the meeting, Mr Yaqoub Yousef Abdullah, chairman of the committee, thanked and expressed his appreciation to the clubs for the efforts they had made during the sporting season, and urged them to put forward proposals, ideas and views that serve Qatari athletics and help develop it, rather than proposals that serve only their own club, noting that these proposals and ideas would be discussed and appropriate decisions taken on them. He wished all the clubs success in their work and in achieving the best results in future seasons.
