Our talented champion Ashraf Al Seifi, who won silver in the hammer throw at the Asian Championships, said that finishing second in Asia was a strong boost and morale-lifter for him to continue working with his coach, thanking the federation under Al Hamad, the board members and federation staff who supported him until he reached world level and began competing with the elite. Al Seifi, the world youth champion, has achieved the qualifying mark for the World Championships in China this summer. He said the Asian Championships had featured many experienced and accomplished Asian athletes, but that, thanks to God, he had succeeded in reaching his goal in outstanding fashion, hoping to do even better at the next edition.
