Our champions expressed their happiness with the achievements made at the seventh Asian Indoor Athletics Championships, but the role of the coaches who contributed to this complete triumph must not be forgotten. We therefore asked one of our senior coaches, Jama Aden, about what had been achieved, and he said he was happy and fully satisfied with what our champions had achieved during the tough competitions, noting that the competition had been fiercer than expected, which shows the readiness of all the champions from across the Asian continent, and that he hopes to reach the best possible level in the upcoming commitments
For his part, Idris Al Sousi, coach of our senior national team, expressed his full satisfaction with what our champions achieved in the long and middle distances, saying that what was achieved came after great work and even greater determination from everyone who took part in the competitions, and that what lies ahead will be tougher, especially with the focus now shifting to the Olympics
