The disappointment was clear on the face of Qatar’s improving champion Musaab Abdulrahman Balla after the 800m final, in which he finished sixth. Our champion’s disappointment came from the tactical nature of the race and the way the Kenyans imposed a particular style on it as before, but our coach Jama Aden did much to console him, assuring him that he had not fallen short and would be even better in the near future. Musaab had hoped to win a medal in a race that was not run fast, and he has a better time in him than the one with which he finished the race.
It is worth noting that world-class coach Jama Aden had begun a new phase of change with runner Musaab in his tactical running style, which paid off with Musaab’s qualification for the World Championships final and will have a major impact on the challenges he faces in the coming period, especially since the coach expects a great deal from Musaab given his desire to develop and perform in the 800m.
