World-class coach Jama Aden, the Qatar Athletics Federation’s middle-distance coach, praised the achievement of Qatar’s champions, saying the success achieved at the Arab Championships confirms the great work being carried out by the federation under the leadership of Major General Dahlan Al Hamad. He said the results achieved represent a promising start to the new athletics season ahead of the major challenges Qatari athletics will face. Jama Aden praised the group of champions who took part in the Arab Championships, which brought together the finest athletics champions in the Arab world, but said it was the early stage of the season that made the marks look ordinary, though this means the champions started from a good level and will develop further in the challenges to come.
