Mohammed Jassim Al Kuwari, secretary general of the Qatar Athletics Federation, described the achievement of Al Jaish’s athletes in winning the Qatar Cup as deserved and natural, given the gap in standard and the striking form shown by Al Jaish’s promising athletes, who won the bet, turned the tables on the bigger clubs and claimed the prized cup. Al Kuwari predicted a fierce battle between the clubs in the season’s grand finale and most prestigious championship, the Amir Cup for men’s athletics, wishing the clubs success and good fortune in the upcoming challenge.
