Ethiopian champion Mohammed Aman gave his view of the Doha meeting after winning the 800m, saying: “It was a tough race. It is the start of the season, and I am happy with this start, especially since I felt in Doha as though I were in Doha. The crowd was fantastic, and the Ethiopians supported me strongly and were a great support to me yesterday. My main goal this season is to give my best, and I am truly sorry about Rudisha’s injury, and I hope he recovers soon.”
