Board of the West Asian Athletics Federation, at its fourth meeting held on Friday 18 May in the Jordanian capital Amman, approved the formation of the federation’s working committees, including the women’s committee, to which Mrs Mariam Abdullah Al Ishaq, a
board member of the Qatar Athletics Federation, was nominated as a member of the West Asian Athletics Federation’s women’s committee, noting that Mrs Mariam is also a member of the women’s committee of the Arab Athletics Federation. The following is the composition of the West Asian Athletics Federation’s women’s committee:
