The Japanese delegation taking part in the first Asian Youth Championships arrived at Hamad International Airport this morning. The team includes 18 athletes and 10 officials. Athletes aged between 16 and 17 will compete in the first Asian Youth Athletics Championships, held from the 8th to the 11th of this month at Qatar SC. Japan’s team is the first delegation to arrive in Doha, aiming for positive preparation ahead of this first continental event of its kind in Asia. The organising committee expressed its welcome to the guests and competing athletes, wishing everyone success in the Asian championships, as it is a new event that serves the future of the mother of sports, given that the participants are the generation of the future
