Mr Abdullah Al Zaini, president of the federation, opened the meeting, welcoming the members of the supreme organising committee and urging them to make every effort for the success of the championship, which will be held on Saturday 26 December 2009 at the Equestrian and Racing Club. The agenda was then discussed, including approval of the minutes of the committee’s first meeting, after which the committee heads reviewed what had been done in the previous stage and what would be done in the coming days to prepare for the championship, with emphasis on the need to contact the GCC countries regarding sending final entries with names, each according to their category. A field visit to the championship venue will also be carried out to draw up the final preparations plan for the championship.
