Qatari sprinter Femi Ogunode deservedly qualified for the men’s 200m final after topping the third semi-final heat in 20.63 seconds.
Femi is looking to claim gold and give Qatar a new medal at the Asian Athletics Championships, which conclude today in Doha.
After qualifying for the final, Femi Ogunode revealed he was feeling some pain in his left foot, saying he might not be able to compete in today’s 200m final because of the injury.
The medical team will try to get Femi ready to compete today, in the hope of contesting a new medal for Qatar.
