Christopher Earle, sports director at Aspire, expressed his happiness at the launch of the academy’s work and at gaining international recognition as a global centre for training and honing talented athletes and students. He said this recognition from the IAAF would help build a joint framework between the academy and the IAAF for a more effective partnership, adding that they looked forward, from either side, to welcoming coaches and athletes from different parts of the world to their facilities in the near future to work together.
Thanks and appreciation to the Qatar federation
Ivan Bravo, director general of Aspire Academy, also spoke about the event, saying: “It gives us great pleasure at Aspire Academy to bring together this elite group of experts and coaches for the first youth athletics coaching conference in Doha. I would like to thank the Qatar Athletics Federation, which gave us every kind of support to hold this conference, which will benefit Qatari sport, athletics in particular. I believe that bringing these experts and coaches together to exchange views and experience over two days is an important occasion and an excellent idea, and I wish everyone two successful days as guests of Aspire and the Qatar Athletics Federation, with best wishes for the conference’s success in achieving its intended goals.”
