Dedicating the achievement to our wise leadership .. world sprinter Femi: I wished it were gold .. and wait for me in Rio 2016

With overwhelming joy  talented Qatari sprinter Femi Ogunode dedicated his world bronze achievement to our wise leadership and all those responsible for Qatari sport and the people of Qatar  and everyone living on the good land of Qatar, affirming that the achievement was the fruit of the leadership’s support, and noting that he had frankly wished he could dedicate gold to the Amir of Qatar, but pledged to embrace gold at Rio 2016. He also dedicated his achievement to Major General Dahlan Al Hamad, president of the Qatari and Asian federations and vice-president of the IAAF, and all his colleagues on the board of directors and the lovers and fans of athletics in Qatar, and singled out his capable American coach Bradley,  Captain Abdulrahman Al Nubi, head of the sprints programme, and his spiritual father Captain Khalifa Abdulmalik. He also offered special thanks to Captain Mohammed Sulaiman, assistant secretary general, for his support and encouragement throughout the past period until he regained his form and self-confidence and returned to the path of world-class performance, pledging to everyone that he would raise the Qatari flag at every world event.
