China’s athletes dominated the men’s and women’s 4x100m relay, confirming their clear superiority in the sprints.
The Chinese women’s team won gold, taking first place in 42.87 seconds, while Kazakhstan finished second for silver in 43.36 seconds, and bronze went to the Bahraini team, who fumbled a baton change after being in contention for gold or at least silver, but had to settle for bronze in 43.61 seconds.
In the men’s 4x100m, China won gold in 38.88 seconds, Thailand took silver in 38.99 seconds, and Chinese Taipei claimed bronze in 39.18 seconds.
