Our talented champion Femi Ogunode achieved a major, world-class result, finishing second in the 200m at the final leg of the Diamond League in Brussels with a time of 20.15 seconds – a mark confirming our star’s return to the path of major achievements, especially as he is a champion who confirms his superiority in world races day after day, having previously claimed a major world result at the World Indoor Championships, where he won bronze. Femi finished second behind American Justin Gatlin, who clocked 19.71 seconds. Federation president Major General Dahlan Al Hamad congratulated him on the achievement and said our champion Femi is on the right track, having succeeded in beating many of the world’s champions and record-holders. Femi himself said he was happy with what he had achieved and hoped to keep improving and reach even better marks.
