Ahlam Al Mannai, head of the Qatar Women’s Sports Committee, said that taking part in the Asian championships among this elite group of champions is an excellent opportunity for Qatar’s girls to gain more experience and strong exposure to develop their level, and thus prepare for the upcoming Arab championships.
Al Mannai said: There is no doubt we need championships like this, as the grassroots is always the foundation, and the emergence of young talents contributes greatly to enriching the senior national teams with talented athletes in the future. She stressed that our champions gained a great deal of benefit, but the important thing is to achieve results in the coming period, especially since the goal is positive preparation and reaching the best level possible, and she praised the federation’s work and what it provides for a successful journey
