Abdulrahman Al Nobi, board member of the Qatar Athletics Federation and member of the higher organising committee, praised Qatar’s achievement at the Asian Indoor Championships and what our champions achieved, saying: What our national team’s champions have achieved reflects the sound approach being pursued by the federation under the leadership of Major General Dahlan Al Hamad in development and steadily moving forward through various challenges.
Al Nobi confirmed that the championships represent a major sign of success for the champions of the Asian continent in the season of indoor championships and the Olympic Games, and that the Asian Athletics Association had given Asian athletics a great opportunity to develop through this championship. Al Nobi wished Qatar’s champions success in the challenges and commitments they will take on this season, chief among them the World Indoor Championships in America and the Olympic Games.
