Abdulrahman Al Nobi, athletics federation member and a former international champion, said the athletics development strategy seminar is a search for an important future for Arab athletics, especially given the great interest in athletics among many fraternal countries. He said: “I consider taking part in this seminar to be entirely positive, as it helped us gain knowledge of many technical, coaching and administrative matters. I would like here to thank HE the federation president for providing this opportunity to attend this seminar, as it allowed us to learn a great deal that is new in the world of athletics. I believe every individual who took part in this event will have a positive outlook on how to support the new generation, or on organising the many matters that serve champions, administrators, referees and every member of the athletics family. I hope the new generation will have the opportunity to benefit from what has been achieved here in Sharm El Sheikh, especially since the work aims to build a foundation for the future on interconnected principles.”
Al Nobi said Qatar athletics has always taken, and continues to take, positive steps in the pursuit of excellence in any event, and that what was achieved in Monaco with the World Championships hosting bid is an achievement that places on the current and coming generations the responsibility of pursuing complete success.
