Abdulhakim Al Amri, board member and head of the technical committee at the athletics federation, praised Qatar’s achievements in Incheon, saying: “Certainly, the leadership of Qatar’s mother of sports did not come out of nowhere but is the fruit of the officials’ support and the tremendous efforts made by those in charge of the sport at our federation, headed by HE Major General Al Hamad and all his colleagues on the board of directors.” Al Amri concluded his remarks by congratulating Qatari athletics’ ambassadors on the successive achievements, hoping the journey of Qatari glory would continue at the Incheon Asian Games 2014
