Meanwhile, just three days before the Doha Diamond League meeting got under way, the World Indoor 400m silver medallist enjoyed a few relaxed moments between training sessions, handling a female falcon owned by Khalid Abdullah Al Jamrouk at a boutique hotel in Souq Waqif.
The falcon is considered Qatar’s national bird, capable of living between 25 and 30 years, with the finest specimens fetching prices of thousands of US dollars.
